The problem with ordinary turmeric
Most of the turmeric you swallow never reaches your bloodstream
Curcumin has a well-documented absorption problem. It barely dissolves in water, your liver and gut wall break down much of what does get through, and the rest leaves your body within hours. That’s why people take turmeric for months and feel nothing.

Herbosomal® encapsulation binds each curcumin molecule to phospholipids — the same class of fat that your own cell membranes are built from. The result is a particle your intestinal lining recognises and admits, instead of one it filters out.

Turmeric (Curcumin)
The active this whole product is built around. Traditionally used to support joint comfort and the body’s normal antioxidant defences.
Black Ginger (Kaempferia parviflora)
A Southeast Asian rhizome with deep purple flesh, long used to support stamina and healthy circulation.
MCT Oil + Sunflower Lecithin
The carrier system. These are the fats that form the phospholipid shell around each active — the mechanics of Herbosomal®, not filler.
Arabic Gum, Starch, Silica
Food-grade stabilisers that keep a fat-loaded powder free-flowing and shelf-stable. Nothing artificial, no sweeteners.

Daily use
Takes about fifteen seconds
Scoop 1–5g

Before you order
What does it taste like?
Earthy and mildly peppery, the way turmeric should. Black ginger adds a faint warmth. Most people mix it into coffee or milk rather than plain water. It is not sweetened, so it won’t taste like a dessert powder.
How long before I notice anything?
Most people take it daily for two to four weeks before they judge it. Some notice sooner. It’s a food supplement, not a painkiller — it works with consistency, not on the first scoop.
How is this different from turmeric with black pepper?
Black pepper extract slows the breakdown of curcumin after absorption. Herbosomal® works one step earlier — it changes the particle itself so more of it can be absorbed in the first place. Different mechanism, different point in the journey.
What does “Matrix” mean on the pack?
Matrix refers to the phospholipid carrier system, not the herbs. Turmeric and black ginger are what sits inside it. The same carrier is used in our Amla Rosehips Matrix with a different set of actives, and can be applied to other fat-soluble botanicals.
Is it Halal?

Can I take it with medication, or while pregnant?
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist first. Turmeric can interact with blood thinners and some other medicines, and we don’t recommend it during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
Why does the powder clump sometimes?
It’s a fat-carrying powder, so it draws moisture. Clumping doesn’t affect quality — seal the pouch and keep it in the fridge or a cool, dry place. Colour and texture also shift slightly batch to batch because the ingredients are natural.
How fast is delivery?
